Our client has a passion for collectibles, 50’s nostalgia and Americana. It has always been his dream to create a room not only to display his collectables but celebrate the 50’s. 

We met with the homeowner, who indicated he contacted us based on our company’s reputation.  After listening to his needs and dreams and evaluating the site, we presented our client with two preliminary designs and he chose one.  We designed and built an 18' x 32' recreation room including a full bathroom and bar area and an attached 9' 8" x 11' mudroom.  One of his requirements was that the room has a step down into it to add drama. We installed beautiful tile floors and wainscoting, all complementing the 50’s décor.  We added reinforcing blocks to hold his wall-mounted specialty speakers near the pool table.  In order to add visual interest to the tray ceiling that our client wanted, we repeated the wainscoting on that part of the ceiling.

There were a number of design and building challenges that required creative solutions including developing a water protection plan. Our client is thrilled with his room.  He is happy to have a beautiful space to entertain and display all of his collectables.
